This weekend we went up to Ogden to see family. Beccah has forced me to start blogging... I have never blogged before so this could get real interesting.Adam and Thayne just got a set of clubs each and have begun golfing with Dad. They think it is real fun. I am not sure if they enjoy the golf or the cart rides more.
Seth will be working a week down in St. George and the kids are going to talk him into playing a little golf after work.
This summer we went to Lake Powell with the family and had a riot on the Trilogy. We even talked the old fuddy duddies into getting on the tube and taking it for a spin! The weather in Lake Powell was amazing and the houseboat was parked up past Knowles Canyon. It was beautiful.
Thayne turned 6 this year and decided he wanted a Mario Birthday. His Grandma Hardman spend hours making him a Mario cake that turned out AMAZING. He loved the cake as well as all the other fun decorations that his aunts and uncles helped put together. He even had a Mario treasure hunt where they searched the yard for "coins" and his uncle put together an obstacle course complete with flag at the end.
We had a great trip to Lava Hot Springs with the Porter side of the family for the Annual Porter reunion. We floated the river and loaded all of the tubes on the top of the car and went for it again! it was so fun to be together and share in the PORTER POWER!
